Hhhmm… free writing for me is writing poetry and/or
a drawing. I found myself creating circles, rhyming words, and being in a
relaxed state. I did not experience any epiphanies…no ghost in this machine. When
I think of free write it conjures up scenes from movies where the medium used
to contact the spirit world is pen and paper. Seems appropriate for the month
of October.
Sounds like you are looking forward to Halloween. My daughter consistently asks me every week "how many more days until halloween?" I also enjoyed this week's free writing. I found myself pouring three paragraphs without judging and editing my writings.

I doodle alot too. I end up drawing hearts and writing my sons name OVER AND OVER AND OVER. I am FAR from artistic so I might throw a few stick figures in there.=]
